England's renowned progressive rockers IQ perform songs from their 1985 album "The Wake" in this segment from the television show "Live from London." Filmed right after the release of "The Wake" and just before vocalist Peter Nicholls left the band, the show provides a nostalgic look at the band's original line-up -- founding members Martin Orford and Mike Holmes and band mates Nicholls, Paul Cook and Tim Esau.

When 12-year-old Elsi Björkman and her mother Paula return from a week's holiday abroad, Elsi immediately notices that someone has been in her room. She tells her mother about it, but she does not believe her. At the local supermarket Elsi meets Henry, who seems to spend his time returning shopping trolleys. Elsi does not know anything about the boy, who has an irritating habit of appearing from out of nowhere, only to disappear again, as if into thin air. Nevertheless, the children become friends.

A coming-of-age story combined with a love interest between a boy and girl from different social stratum told during the years of teenage turmoil after high school the barriers of upbringing and taboos disintegrate. Each finds true love just before the party breaks up and will eventually learn to resolve the inner conflicts of values, proportion, and priorities.

Amitz Dolniker, an Israeli politician who speaks way to much has a heart attack in the middle of his speech. In the ambulance on the way to the hospital the doctor orders him to "go someplace quite, rest, and don't make speeches". His young assistant immediately suggest they go to Switzerland, however Dolniker had taken a vow not to leave Israel unnecessarily, so he comes up with a different idea - going to a remote village where they have never heard of him, so he would not be asked to make any speeches. As they arrive, it turns out that not only the villagers have never heard of Dolniker, but they have also never heard of running water, electricity, phones, and most importantly: TV, Radio, and newspapers... so its only a matter of time before Dolniker or the villagers go bananas...

He firmly believes that when the meteor shower comes, all his wishes can be realized, but no one believes it. Until one day he met Ye Zhenzhen, a terminally ill girl, and they were in love with each other.

Three screens display how the day’s light passes by: from the early morning light until late at night. Along with the woman the artist walks through the forest, in the same rhythm, the same pace. Off-screen she looks through the camera, fragmenting time. The age-old androgynous trees are a vertical constant along which the woman moves, as if in an interval between visibility and invisibility, between sound and silence, while the light keeps on evolving metabletically.

Juvenile court judge Marlene Neubach relies on strictness out of conviction. When she visits her son Jakob in Athens, who is currently studying there for a semester abroad, Marlene has a surprise. Jakob has disappeared from the face of the earth and is wanted by Inspector Vergas in connection with crimes. The lawyer cannot imagine that her beloved son could be involved in illegal activities. But can Marlene trust the local police? Together with her random acquaintance Alexandros, who offers to be a lawyer, the judge begins to investigate in the Greek metropolis. Through Jakob's friend Eleni, the worried mother learns about the double life of her son, who hasn't studied for months but has committed himself to political activism with conviction. In order to find him and help him, the courageous lawyer begins to rely on means that she would have to punish in the courtroom.

A mother takes her minivan through an automatic car wash, drives home, scoops up the mail, pulls into the garage and kills herself.
