Alec Baker, Peter Mungkuri and Mr Kunmanara Pompey are three senior artists and respected leaders from Indulkana community on the APY Lands, SA. As young men, they were renowned stockmen and in 2017 they coordinated a men's camp at the local cattle station. Influenced by their ongoing love for cowboy and western films and country music, they created their own spaghetti western: Never Stop Riding.

Bleeding to death under a dead tree in the middle of the prairie, he lies there, old Sam, when the gunslinger Tom finds him. In his final words, he talks about the legendary gold of the Iowa Indians that he had actually seen in the blue mountains – from which no pale face has yet returned alive. When two Indians appear on the horizon, Tom searches for space – and so the Iowas bring the corpse of Sam, popular for his stomach-turning firewater, to his son Bill. It is assumed that a bear killed him, but doubts soon arise about this theory.

A Pale Shadow is a dark, meditative western that follows Jesse, a quiet young carpenter at odds with his alcoholic older brother over the money their dead father has left behind.

A description of the surviving scenes: Two girls are dancing in the inn, one wearing a white dress, the other in black - a bandit arrives - the bandit has an argument with another guest about one of the girls - the fight continues on the rocks - the bandit throws his rival off the cliff - the girl in black mourns the dead man - a cowboy appears on a horse - the girl in black laments the crime to him - the cowboy catches up with the bandit, he disarms him and ties him to a tree - the old man who is to watch over the captive gets drunk and falls asleep - the girl in white, armed with a revolver, frees the bandit, her lover, and they both tie the watchman to the tree instead - the cowboy returns and again fights with the bandit - the girl in white is accidently shot during the ensuing duel - the cowboy leads the handcuffed bandit away.

Three years before the end of the Soviet occupation, a new juvenile inspector arrives in a small, quiet Estonian town. With each step, the town's secrets and hidden tensions begin to unravel, and it's clear that this place holds more than meets the eye.
