Na oplátku nabízí Japonsku svou ochranu před dalšími útoky obávaného monstra. To však rozhodně nehodlá čekat, než se obě strany dohodnou, a opět se vynoří z hlubin Tichého oceánu a začne demolovat Tokio. Mosura se proto vydává do boje, zatímco se na ostrově Infant narodí její potomstvo. Jenomže tentokrát je Gojira nad její síly, a tak vládě nezbývá nic jiného než poslat do boje poškozenou Kiryu.
