A community is under siege as three Belmont Highschool coed students go missing with no trace of their whereabouts. The pressure is on the police to capture the culprits responsible. 鸣梁海战续集也将提上制作日程。据片方介绍，续集计划采用中韩合拍的方式，届时有望在中韩两国同步公映，这样一来两国影片上档时差将被彻底打破。历史上，鸣梁海战之后第二年也就是1598年，中朝水军和丰臣秀吉的日本海军进行了露梁海战，朝鲜将领李舜臣（崔岷植在《鸣梁海战》中的角色）和大明将领邓子龙联合指挥并取得大捷。如果中韩真的能合拍续集，应该就是拍摄这个故事，邓子龙将由中方哪位男星出演和崔岷植飙戏让人期待。
