Například vévoda Balabam, majitel firmy, kde dříve pracoval nebožtík Ugo Fantozzi, je nešťastný z toho, že zaměstnanci již nemají takový respekt před svými šéfy jako kdysi, ba dokonce, že se on sám k nim musí chovat slušně a stýská se mu po časech, kdy mohl své lidi ponižovat a vykořisťovat.
