Muten propone ai due una sfida, il primo di loro che porterà al maestro la "Bella Addormentata", una bellissima ragazza prigioniera a Castel Demonio, un luogo che si trova nei pressi della Mano del Diavolo (una catena montuosa formata da cinque montagne), diventerà il suo nuovo pupillo. I due accettano la sfida, ma Muten impone a Goku di non usare la Nuvola d'Oro. Goku e Crilin iniziano il viaggio, ma dopo essere partiti Muten si mette a ridere facendo intuire che la sua storia fosse solo una bugia, e che i due ragazzi siano stati vittima di uno scherzo...
Mentre Piccolo continua i suoi allenamenti su una montagna innevata, Gohan e Olong sono alla ricerca delle sette sfere del drago: il maialino vuole chiedere a Shenron un paio di mutandine femminili. Ma l'anziano Dottor Kochin, che ha raccolto le sfere prima di loro, evoca il drago e chiede di risvegliare dal ghiaccio il Dottor Willow, malvagio scienziato creduto morto cinquant'anni prima il cui cervello è stato custodito in una cupola di vetro.

La battaglia contro i guerrieri bionici viene vinta in brevissimo tempo, con Mr. Satan che se ne dà le glorie senza neanche prenderne parte. Allora il barone concede una tregua ai quattro dicendo che avrebbe sfoderato il suo migliore guerriero bionico. Goten e Trunks allora, mentre curiosano per la villa e dopo aver incontrato vari scienziati, si imbattono nel guerriero che si rivela essere un personaggio piuttosto inaspettato.
