Jedoch taucht mit Machinedramon ein übermächtiger Gegner auf. Im Kampfgetümmel werden die Kinder voneinander getrennt und zu allem Überfluss entpuppt sich auch noch ein alter Vertrauter als unberechenbarer Feind.
