A newly married gay couple, still in their honeymoon phase, are disturbed when an old school-friend of the younger guy moves near by, and wants to re-establish their friendship. The older, more insecure partner, is immediately jealous, and asks another friend his age what he should do. However everything is not the way it seems.

Then one day, her daily life suddenly changes. Unknown creatures fly out from a large number of spheres sent from outer space and begin to parasitize and manipulate human beings. The parasites not only move in strange ways, but some of them also exhibit extraordinary physical abilities. Trapped in a building at work, Shang and his colleagues discover that the space creatures are vulnerable to cigarette smoke. But that was only the beginning of the fight to the death. Smokers vs. space creatures, who will survive? Shang's cry echoes through the air. "Breathe in the smoke and go to hell!"

This comedy revolves around two brothers, both wonderful chefs, who fall out catastrophically. At the climax of their dispute they rip the family recipe book in half - one brother gets the starters and the other gets the main courses. They set up rival restaurants, across the road from each other, and spend the next twenty years trying to out-do each other. Neither brother will admit it but they both know they are not entirely successful in the 'other half' of the menu. It takes a daughter - a successful corporate lawyer marrying a man from a very different background - to reunite them. She is planning her marriage and is determined that they will both cook the wedding banquet.

After ignoring the help of her best friend and psychologist, she has no choice but to trust Alfredo, a co-worker with major temperamental problems. They both meet while attending a party, their connection is instantaneous and Ophelia leans on him to distract herself from her hallucinations. However, Ophelia feels overwhelmed as her hallucinations continue to haunt her. She tries to escape the suffering by committing suicide, but is momentarily stopped by her best friend. Ophelia takes advantage of the slightest distraction to complete her task and cuts her wrists in the bathtub.
