Jedi-ritarit on hävitetty ja Keisari hallitsee galaksia rautaisella kädellä. Pieni kapinallisten ryhmä rohkenee tehdä vastarintaa ja varastaa Keisarin mahtavimman aseen, taisteluasema Kuolemantähden salaiset kaaviot.
