Survivor Series (2009) was a PPV which took place on November 22, 2009 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.. It was the 23rd annual Survivor Series event. There were two matches that were deemed the main events of the program. The first was the triple threat match featuring The Undertaker defending the World Heavyweight Championship against the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho and The Big Show. This was also followed by the another triple threat main event match with John Cena defending the WWE Championship against Triple H and Shawn Michaels. Four matches comprised the undercard of the event. The first was the team of WWE US Champion The Miz, Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Jack Swagger, and Dolph Ziggler versus WWE IC Champion John Morrison, Matt Hardy, Shelton Benjamin, Finlay, and Evan Bourne. This was later followed by Kofi Kingston leading the team of Christian, MVP, Mark Henry, and R-Truth versus Randy Orton, CM Punk, William Regal, Cody Rhodes, and Ted DiBiase.

Two young girls find themselves alone in the forest but for a gaggle of goblins with mischevious intent. Adapted from the Christina Rossetti poem, The Goblin Market is a tale of two girls, their relationship and how it is affected by temptation and the pull of the woods. Keeping Rossetti's characters but altering their relationship slightly, Daisy Adders creates a film full of whimsy and woodland joy with a dark, mystical side to it.

In their vehicle, Laurie, Kristy and Linda live alone on the American roads. Like thousands of modern American nomads who can no longer afford to pay for their housing. With no money to spare, these three sixty-year old women are fleeing, in their own way, a part of their history that has left a deep mark on them. Driving away, they try to regain some form of peace. But as the miles and seasons pass, despite their impressive temerity and resilience, their quest for a better future is challenged by unexpected events that hit a country in crisis. Will they nevertheless manage, at the end of the road, to find the serenity they are looking for, in order to become someone again?

Two young men and two girls on a moonlit night confess to each other in their strange fantasies and loves that go beyond the usual standards.. The impetus to making the film was the book of the same name by the Russian religious philosopher Vasily Rozanov, who died 100 years ago. His treatise was devoted to the study of sexuality and its denial in Christianity. The film was made in the style of experimental films of the 1920s with a non-linear narration full of strange surrealistic images. He is black and white and devoid of dialogue. Filmed on film 16 mm of firm "Svema", released in the USSR. This added to his exoticism. The image was put to the music of Alexander Scriabin “The Poem of Ecstasy” (1907).

Return is a methodical construction of the approach of an individual towards an unseen goal, which assumes metaphorical significance. Viola moves toward the camera/viewer, pausing every few steps to ring a bell, at which point he is momentarily thrust back to his starting place, and then advanced again. Finally reaching his destination, he is taken through all of the previous stages in a single instant and returned to the source of his journey.

When a middle aged salaryman is unknowingly used by drug traffickers he is dishonored and fires back at the Yakuza bosses, with destructive consequences.

RETURN tells the story of a retired Green Beret who embarks on a healing journey from Montana to Vietnam. Three women inherit a manor from a lady called Dolores whom none of them knows. The women are complete strangers to each other, so they meet up at the neglected mansion. Unexpectedly, the big house is occupied by a 40 year old man who had lived together with Dolores for almost a decade. Christian says he doesn’t know anything about Dolores’ earlier life, and he does everything within his power to show them that the manor is morally his and that it is all a mistake. The women stay on the estate for three days, and while they are getting acquainted conflicts arise. Also, in search of the reason why they have inherited the house, it slowly dawns on one of the women what lies behind the will of Dolores (from official website).

Valerie Graves, a misanthropic, disillusioned woman in her mid-twenties, is haunted by sadistic urges that she has struggled to repress since childhood.

Two couples of friends who have arranged to meet in the woods get lost and find themselves in an embarrassing situation: the husband of one with the wife of the other? Each couple tries to get through this forced cohabitation honestly, but everything is turned upside down when two young Sunday gangsters appear. What follows is a cross-country chase through the woods, which leads the whole gang back to the house, where one of the couples manages to leave, free at last, on an old tandem, bound for... Africa!

Without question, this is an incredibly bizarre production. The revised storyline makes little sense, and there is a surprising amount of violence and sexual innuendo. However, the singers are superb, both vocally and in regard to their stage presence and acting, the orchestra plays beautifully, the chorus is wonderful, and the set is as clever as it is strange. It's definitely not for purists, or for someone new to this particular opera. But for someone who's seen Die Entfuhrung before, and is familiar enough with the original story to not miss it, watching Belmonte, Constanze, Blonde, Pedrillo, and Osmin embark on an entirely new adventure -- and push the boundaries of good taste -- is rather enjoyable.
