When Dilan chooses Mirkan, Paso has the youth killed by one of his men. Dilan marries Paso, but she murders him on their wedding night and runs away to the mountains. A tragic love story as well as a realistic portrait of the existence of the rural people of Anatolia, Dilan was shown at several international film festivals, including Cannes, Venice and Berlin.

Když pak přijde Christy pozdě večer domů ze schůzky a navíc ještě s rozepnutou podprsenkou, dostanou její rodiče strach, že začíná žít intimním životem a pošlou jí na katolickou školu mimo město, kam nemají chlapci přístup. Když se to dozví Jerry, tak se rozhodne, že se ke své dívce musí dostat. Napadne ho tedy převléknout se za kněze, a skutečně se díky tomuto převleku dostane do prostor církevní školy. Z toho pak vznikají mnohá nedorozumění, ale cesta k Christy je pro tento okamžik volná. Ještě se však musí stát mnoho věcí, aby city své dcery respektovali i její rodiče.
