In the middle of a broadcast about Typhoon Yolanda's initial impact, reporter Jiggy Manicad was faced with the reality that he no longer had communication with his station. They were, for all intents and purposes, stranded in Tacloban. With little option, and his crew started the six hour walk to Alto, where the closest broadcast antenna was to be found. Letting the world know what was happening to was a priority, but they were driven by the need to let their families and friends know they were all still alive. Along the way, they encountered residents and victims of the massive typhoon, and with each step it became increasingly clear just how devastating this storm was. This was a storm that was going to change lives.

Dopo avere sconfitto l'Ottavo Angelo, il Nono Angelo è un nemico più infido, capace di insinuarsi nella nuovissima unità Evangelion 03 e impossessarsi del pilota assegnato al collaudo, ossia Asuka. Dopo l'apparente sconfitta di Godzilla, il governo giapponese vuole usare alcune ossa di Godzilla per ricostruire il robot Mecha-Godzilla, al fine di usarlo come arma di difesa per il Giappone. Mothra tuttavia si dimostra subito contrariata all'esperimento e minaccia di attaccare l'umanità se ciò dovesse avvenire. Nonostante l'accordo tra i giapponesi e Mothra fosse chiaro, il governo si dirige verso il luogo dove Godzilla era precipitato per prelevarne le ossa. Con grande sorpresa di tutti il dinosauro mutante è ancora vivo e immediatamente distrugge i laboratori dirigendosi verso Tokyo con un solo obiettivo: distruzione totale. Mothra lo affronta ma Godzilla la sconfigge con il suo potentissimo raggio radioattivo. I giapponesi allora ricostruiscono in fretta e furia Mecha-Godzilla e lo scagliano al fianco della farfalla gigante contro Godzilla...
