When the Prime Minister tries to shut down the brothel Gilles decides to stand against him in the election.

The humans and animals believe a werewolf is on the loose, and former hunter Shaw uses the opportunity to re-open the season. Boog, Elliot, and Mr. Weenie have to face their fears and find the werewolf to get the season closed permanently.

Jerry (Brad Pitt), en motvillig småkjeltring, har blitt stilt ovenfor to alternativer. Jerry resonerer seg raskt frem til at det er bedre å være i live med kjærlighetsproblemer fremfor det andre mer radikale alternativet. Kursen settes mot Mexico. Å finne pistolen er lett. Å få den tilbake til USA er en helt annen sak. Det hviler visstnok en legendarisk forbannelse over pistolen - en forbannelse Jerry etter hvert tror sterkt på. Især når Samantha blir tatt som gissel av leiemorderen Leroy (James Gandolfini) for å sikre at Jerry ikke ødelegger oppdraget og at Meksikaneren ender opp i gale hender.
