Signe und Thomas führen eine ungesunde Beziehung, in der einer immer versucht, den anderen zu übertrumpfen. Der Plan geht auf. Sie wird mit Mitleid überhäuft, in den Medien wird von ihrer mysteriösen Krankheit berichtet, und sogar Thomas entschuldigt sich. Aber dann artet alles aus, und die Geschichte nimmt einen immer böseren Verlauf …
