In the Wild West Saloon, the Black Gunslinger has just robbed two wretches at cards. Bar singer Kitty helps him with this dark work, but quickly falls out with him over the division of the spoils. In the fight, Kitty takes all the money from Black and would have had a bad time, if the White Avenger didn't come in at the right moment, and defeat the Black villain. White rescues Kitty, but instead of thanks he receives a loud slap from her. Kitty still prefers her Black friend and leaves with him.

Texas Pete, a gun-man, is "extra" bad when in liquor. This, however, does not terrify the ranch foreman, who discharges him for drunkenness. Pete laces on his hardware and lurches off, with the intention of shooting up the town where he pumped in his original trouble.
Bud Harris, a young miner with a reputation for courage, goes prospecting in the desert with Tom Jones in an attempt to locate a turquoise mine. Their water gives out and their horses die on the way. Bud thinks that Tom has water in his canteen and strikes him down.

Buck Kelly, an enemy of Ned's, frames him and abducts Betty.
A United States marshal in the Southwest learns of a Mrs. Osborne, whose son and husband have been killed by raiders and whose daughter, June, has been taken captive. He orders Jack Laramie, his best man, to investigate the affair and arrest the guilty parties at any cost. Jack arrives at the local cafe and learns the identity of the outlaw gang and June's whereabouts. Meanwhile, Jack has rescued a child whose parents have been killed while crossing the prairie to stake out a homestead.
Prospector Henry Tolliver disappears and his son "Wild Bill" Tolliver comes looking for him.
