Tina!: 50th Anniversary Tour was the eleventh and final concert tour by singer Tina Turner. It was the first tour by Turner in eight years, following her record-breaking "Twenty Four Seven Tour". The trek marked the singer's 50th year in music—since joining Ike Turner and the Kings of Rhythm in St. Louis, Missouri. Recorded at ther Gelre Dome in Arnhem, Netherlands on March 21, 2009. In conjunction with the tour, Turner released the compilation album, Tina!. Beginning October 1, 2008, and concluded on May 5, 2009.

In January 1985 in California, Tina received two awards at the American Music Awards: one for "best female singer" and the other for "best video actress." A month later, at the Grammy Awards, Tina took the stage three times: as "Best Singer", as "Best Rock Singer" and as Creator of "Best Song." The DVD and CD were recorded over two nights at the Paradiso in Amsterdam. Two studio recordings, "Forever" and "Purifier" are included on the album. Singer Ed Kowalczyk said of them, "Both songs kind of have this urgency about them, where we almost missed our deadlines. You can feel the urgency and the energy of the session in the songs" Despite the fact that the band was on the verge of breaking up, guitarist Chad Taylor was pleased with the DVD. "When I saw the magic that was on camera, I was overcome by emotion. We had documented the energy and efforts of a 20-year career together." However, the long-standing tensions between lead singer Ed Kowalczyk and the other three band members were boiling over. "When the album artwork showed up with Chad, Patrick and I in black and white and Ed in color it shot pain through my veins."

Deepest Purple: The Very Best of Deep Purple is a compilation album by the British hard rock band Deep Purple, released in 1980. It features the original hits of Deep Purple before their 1984 reunion. Aided by a TV advertising campaign it would become Purple's third UK #1 album. It was at one point the longest album ever released as a single LP, but it was overtaken by Def Leppard's Hysteria album in 987. This also marked the debut of "Demon's Eye" for the North American release, where it was replaced by "Strange Kind of Woman" on Fireball. The film, released on DVD with the 30th anniversary edition, features track by track Jon Lord interviews.

During this infamous concert, Jimi was also playing “New Rising Sun” and “Lover Man”, both of which are unfortunately missing from this recording for some reason.
