Het pad leidde onder meer langs een spookachtig huis waarvan de bewoner bezoekers kenbaar maakte vooral niet naderbij te komen. Een oude dorpslegende vertelt dat de man ooit betrokken is geweest bij vermissingen van kinderen lange tijd geleden. Nu sommige van de kinderen opgegroeid zijn tot tieners, neemt hun nieuwsgierigheid zodanige proporties aan dat ze besluiten eens uit te zoeken hoe het zit met het betreffende optrekje van wie de bewoner nog steeds schijnt te leven.
