Herefter er Egon igen leder af Olsen-Banden. Olsen-Banden går herefter i krig mod EFs overskudslagre. Olsenbanden stjæler 10 millioner sorte amerikanske dollars - men en rivaliserende bande bliver hyret af en folketingsmand til at skaffe pengene tilbage. Pengene bliver nu placeret i Verdensbankens afdeling i København. Olsenbanden stjæler med Georgs hjælp pengene tilbage, men er så uheldige, at Yvonne kommer til at vaske de sorte penge rene i bogstavelig forstand. Kjeld og Benny har nemlig gemt pengene på et møntvaskeri.
