妊娠を機に殺し屋稼業から足を洗ったザ・ブライドは結婚式のリハーサルの最中、属していた組織のボスであるビルとその配下である4人の殺し屋から襲撃を受ける。婚約者である夫を殺され、妊娠していた彼女も凄惨なリンチにより、4年間の昏睡状態に陥るほどの重傷を負わされる。昏睡から目覚めたザ・ブライドは、ビルと4人の殺し屋への復讐に向けて動き始める。

女学生のヴァランティーヌが知り合った初老の元判事には、他人の電話を盗聴するという悪習があった。彼女はそれをやめさせようと、男の過去を探っていくが……。

メキシコでの任務の帰路、マイアミに立ち寄ったイギリス秘密情報部員ジェームズ・ボンドは、かつてのカジノ・ロワイヤルでの勝負の際同席したデュポンと再会し、彼の頼みでオーリック・ゴールドフィンガーのカードのいかさまを暴いた。ロンドンへ戻ったボンドは、ゴールドフィンガーがスメルシュの手先となって金の密輸を行っているらしいことを聞かされ、その調査を命じられた。調査中、ボンドはゴールドフィンガーに捕らわれ、彼がアメリカ合衆国のフォート・ノックスを襲撃して合衆国金塊保管所に貯蔵された金塊を奪取し、ソ連の巡洋艦に積み込んで海外に運び去ろうとしていることを知る。

Doors of the railway-cars open and attendants help passengers off and on. Popular legend has it that, when this film was shown, the first-night audience fled the café in terror, fearing being run over by the "approaching" train. This legend has since been identified as promotional embellishment, though there is evidence to suggest that people were astounded at the capabilities of the Lumières' cinématographe.

Minnie gives Figaro a bath and ties a ribbon around his neck. Figaro feels like a sissy, and when he mixes it up with some alley cats, they mock him, and the leader attacks. But Figaro is so afraid that his shaking topples a series of trash cans onto the aggressor. The rest of the cats didn't see this happen, and think Figaro defeated their leader. Of course, now he's all dirty, and he needs another bath.

イギリス諜報部MI6はロシア当局と合同で、ロシア国境における武器取引マーケットの調査を行っていた。侵入したボンドの撮影した映像から、大量の武器と日本人テロリストの磯倉聡やアメリカ人のテロリストのヘンリー・グプタをはじめとする危険人物が集まっていることを確認したMI6は、ロシア側の合意によりイギリス海軍艦艇からの巡航ミサイル攻撃を行う。ところが、市場の商品の中に核魚雷がある事が判明、ミサイルは母艦から距離が離れすぎていた為自爆電波が届かず、ボンドには退避命令が出される。だが、ボンドは命令を無視して核魚雷を搭載した戦闘機諸共確保して飛び去り、チェルノブイリ以上の核汚染は阻止された。しかし、この代償に会場にいた危険人物の1人、ヘンリー・グプタは逃走してしまう。

デトロイト市警のアクセル刑事は、盗難車の部品を売りさばく組織のアジトを急襲。だが一味のボス、デウォルドに上司を射殺されてしまう。アクセルは現場に残された手掛かりをもとに単身ビバリーヒルズへ。現地市警の刑事で、かつてともに2つの大事件を解決したローズウッドの応援を得られたアクセルだが、デウォルドが保安課長として働く巨大テーマパーク(ワンダーワールド)で偽造紙幣が製造されていることを突き止める。

シリーズの主人公であるクルーゾー警部を長年演じ続けたＰ・セラーズの死後、別のキャラクターを立てて製作された作品。シリーズの正当な流れに属してはいるが、趣はまるで異なり、ちょっと間の抜けた刑事が快盗ピンク・パンサーを追跡するという構成になっている。セラーズの抜けた穴はあまりに大きく、それを埋める映画にはならなかった。唯一笑えるのは、保養地の温泉に、００７の疲れを癒すためにロジャー・ムーアがお忍びで来ているという設定で、何と本人がゲスト出演、主役の刑事と一緒に温泉につかっているという不思議な場面が展開されている。
