En enorm bølge af Sharknados truer nu den amerikanske østkyst og endnu en gang må vores superhelt Fin Shepard (Ian Ziering) ud med sin motorsav og sætte livet på spil for at redde sine børn, som er på ferie. Mens han kæmper sig fremad mod syd, suger Sharknado’erne sig sammen og svulmer op til gigantiske størrelser – voldsommere og større end nogensinde og ser ud til at ramme Washington D.C.
