Misteriosa desaparició del gran detectiu privat, Harry Goodman. En Tim, el seu fill, haurà d’esbrinar què és el que ha passat. En Tim s’haurà d’unir a l’antic company Pokémon d’en Harry: el detectiu Pikachu! En la seva recerca se’ls uniran diversos personatges Pokémon amb les seves habilitats característiques.
